Knowing the growing interactions within European territory from an economic, social and cultural perspective, the need to integrate regional and territories various governance levels and structures is urgent and asks for tools flexible enough to answer the political needs and constraints at local level, regional level and international level. Those indices and indicators will therefore be built upon existing data across the European territory to be combined in order to form composite indicators easier to manipulate and adapted to each level of contexts.
