An interactive communication is a key part of applied research. Regional development is a field we share with a lot of different actors. Our research is performed in close cooperation with ministries, boards, agencies and other authorities. To maintain accuracy and relevance, Nordregio has developed an interactive communication strategy.
Communication model in projects
To enhance the communication activities within our research projects, we have implemented a "communication model for projects" based on our interactive communication strategy. Our approach is to involve the relevant stakeholders while addressing the needs and realities of the beneficiaries in the research process. We strive to lift the communication activities within our projects to the same proficiency level as our research.
Continuous dialogue
Sustaining an interactive dialogue with the academic world is essential to promoting state of the art developments in our fields of research. We are continuously sharpening our cutting edge skills in quantitative and qualitative analyses on the many different geographic scales with which we work.
