Objectives

The main policy objectives of the group are:

To provide concrete lessons, examples, statistics, and policy-relevant conclusions to stimulate and develop innovative regional economies at all policy levels, not least in the areas of the green and blue economy;
To support and stimulate regional stakeholders so that they can leverage their innovation and development potential;
To promote and analyse the challenges and obstacles that the Nordic countries and regions face in relation to promoting innovative and resilient regions, green growth, and smart specialisation, and provide examples of strategies or solutions to the greatest extent possible.
