As the termination of the project The Regional Potential of Higher Education Institutions is approaching, a workshop was held on December 12th 2011 at Nordregio. The purpose of the workshop was to present the findings of the project, and to discuss policy implications related to higher education institutions' collaboration with their surrounding society.
The workshop gave valuable input for the development of policy recommendations for the final project report. Participants at the workshop comprised representatives from the case study regions of the project, higher education institutions, the Nordic Council of Ministers, and national authorities of the Nordic countries.
