Nordregio will be lead part of a consortium for on-going evaluation of Kraftcentrum Flemingsberg, a project co-funded by the ERDF. The goal of the project is to support establishment, growth and location of innovative and knowledge based companies in the area around Flemingsberg in Stockholm South. A model for collaboration between academia and innovators in the medical technology and health care sectors, involving so called "business architects", will be developed and tested. The project is run by Flemingsberg Science Foundation, established as a joint initiative by three universities (KI, KTH and SU), two municipalities (Botkyrka and Huddinge) and the County Council of Stockholm.
Nordregio will be responsible for project leadership and quality assessment. On-going data collection and reporting will mainly be the responsibility of the consultancy company Reginova AB.
